Celebrate with your love this Valentine’s Day weekend with indulgent multicourse dinners, unique sweet treats and, of course, foods with aphrodisiac qualities. And because Feb. 14 falls on a Sunday, several restaurants are offering special brunches.

>>Arugula, 953 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, will serve brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and its regular dinner menu starting at 5 p.m. on Feb. 14. >>Millwright’s, 77 West St., Simsbury, offers a $99 prix-fixe menu Feb. 13 and 14. The meal includes gougeres and Wellfleet oysters for the table along with choices of first, second, main and dessert courses. >>Mattabesett Canoe Club, 80 Harbor Drive, Middletown, is offering an “aphrodisiac menu” with a view of the Connecticut River on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. The menu features choice of appetizer, including oysters and duck confit; a lobster and avocado salad with pineapple; entrée options of surf and turf, seared scallops, grilled salmon or braised beef ravioli and a dessert plate. $100 per couple. >>Cloud Nine Restaurant at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport, 1 Airport Boulevard, Windsor Locks, offers a Valentine’s menu available Feb. 12 through 14 from 5 to 10 p.m. The menu includes seasonal chopped salad, entrée selections of porcini-dusted sea bass, ribeye or seared duck breast, and dessert trio for two of cannoli cake, red velvet cake and Boston cream cheesecake.
